We will focus on four critical areas: (1) reading, (2) writing, (3) grammar, and (4) vocabulary. The principal focus in eighth grade is to prepare students for success in high school. Students will read and respond to a variety of literary selections, including novel, drama, non-fiction, short stories, and poetry.
